Stacie Blaney, was looking for a way to keep
her son Sean (9 months), from throwing his cup on the floor
and so he could easily retrieve it if dropped.
This could also prove to be helpful with preventing the
occasional "flying cup while driving"
After carefully researching the existing products, she
realized that their was nothing available that kept the
strap from slipping off of Sean's bottle.
She asked her husband Michael to help design something that
would keep Sean's bottles and toys from slipping off while
in his car seat, highchair and in shopping carts.
After
developing a few designs that would be easy for her to
attach and remove, she tested them out on her son to
determine which one would not slip off and would be safe for
him to use, the CupStrap was born! It was Baby Sean
Approved!
Stacie began selling the CupStrap while attending Play
Groups, baby classes and Mom’s Groups after other moms
saw how safe, quick and easy it was to use.
Stacie lives in southwest Florida with her husband
Michael, son Sean and two cats named Snickers and Abby.
She is a proud graduate of the University of Florida and
an alumni member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
